Toasted Coconut and Almond PB & J Sandwich

Do you guys ever get sick of your peanut butter and jelly sandwich? I’m sure you do…

I haven’t, because I am ADDICTED to peanut butter, but I do like trying new combinations. For instance, lemon curd and peanut butter, pb & j with marshmallow fluff or with cookie butter or nutella. The list goes on, trust me. Today, I made a version of peanut butter and jelly with toasted coconut flakes and slivered almonds.

It was super easy, just like a normal peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, just with the addition of coconut flakes and slivered almonds.

Recipe (super super easy):

Toasted Coconut and Almond PB & J Sandwich 

Two slices of whole wheat bread

Raspberry jam (or jam of your preference)

Peanut Butter

Slivered almonds

Toasted coconut flakes (I like the TJ’s ones)

Toast your bread. Spread peanut butter on one slice, and jam on another. Place almonds and coconut flakes on either side. Smash together, cut and eat!
